NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Misty Marie Garnett and Samuel Mark Gendron was held at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. The Rev. Roger Cousineau officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Gendron is the daughter of Gregory and Cherie Garnett of Lisbon Falls and Ron Herrick and Ann Wilson of Sabattus. Mr. Gendron is the son of Mark and Janice Gendron of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown made by her mother, fashioned with beaded and embroidered silk bodice and a satin skirt with organza overlay. The train and fingertip veil were hand-beaded and embroidered by the bride’s mother. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath, also made by her mother.

Samantha Wilson, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Bethany Shank and Kristina Garnett, cousins of the bride. Cassidy Haskell, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Serving as best men for the bridegroom were his twin cousins, Jason and Josh Chasse. Austin Denis, friend of the couple, was usher. Madison Jalbert, cousin of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Pineland Farms, after which the couple traveled to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a graduate of Lisbon High School and is employed at Growing Child Day Care.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and attended two years at Eastern Nazarene College. He is employed at Central Maine Cabinetry and Millworks.
