BOSTON (AP) – New England Patriots cornerback Ty Law will be out four to six weeks due to a broken bone in his left foot, his agent told The Boston Globe.

Law was injured on Pittsburgh’s second possession Sunday and did not return to the game. Pittsburgh defeated the Patriots, 34-20, to end New England’s winning streak at 21 games.

Law was replaced by rookie Randall Gay, who also was hurt later in the game.

Law’s agent, Carl Poston, told the Globe that Law had a broken bone in his left foot and would miss four to six weeks. Poston did not immediately return a call for comment Tuesday night from The Associated Press. Patriots spokesman Stacey James said the team would not comment on the report.
