AUBURN – The Auburn Public Library will present a tutorial to introduce databases available through Marvel’s virtual library, MARVEL!, from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4.

The databases are provided to all Maine residents through state funding.

There is something of interest for everyone, from students who need a magazine or newspaper article for an essay they have due to an adult looking for the latest information from Consumer Reports magazine on the best type of car to purchase to a listing of authors who write in a similar style. Sodality session

LEWISTON- The Queen’s Sodality of St. Joseph’s Church will meet Thursday, Nov. 4, for the 6 p.m. Mass. Deceased Sodalists will be remembered at the Mass. The Rev. Michael Seavey will be the speaker at a meeting following.

Refreshments will be served by Lorraine Aubert, Dorothy Higgins, Lorraine Chouinard and Mary Gowell. All women of the parish are welcome. Plans are being for a communion breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 14.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 1 were: N/S, first, Jeanine Kivus and Claire Lyons; second, Anna Vitiello and Randy Silver; third, Nancy Farmer and Janice Wolfe; fourth, Helen Little and Leonard Daley; first in C, Eleanor Griffin and Paul Beegel.

E/W, first, Dick Allen and Don Johnson; second, Eileen Potvin and Della Starbird; third, Mimi Bell and Marta Clements; fourth, Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; first in C, Nancy Ferris and Eileen Minnehan.
