LEWISTON – Adrienne R. Jolin, 86, of 41 Pleasant St., Auburn, died unexpectedly Friday evening, Nov. 5, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Auburn on July 15, 1918, the daughter of Omer and Aurore Lessard Dupuis, and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She had been employed for many years at the Continental Mill, and before her retirement in 1982, she was employed as a sales clerk at Kresgie’s.

She was the widow of Adelard J. Jolin, whom she married on June 2, 1945. He died April 15, 1985.

She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and her adopted family at the Chapman House in Auburn.

She is survived by one son, Fern “Bear” A. Jolin and his wife, Helene, of Auburn; one sister, Rita Blais of Southington, Conn.; two grandchildren, Mark P. Jolin and his wife, Deanna, of Leeds, and Cindy A. Jayanepti and her husband, Priyaneha, of Branford, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, Laurent Jolin, who died Jan. 7, 1979; two brothers, Ronaldo “Duke” Dupuis and Armand Dupuis; and two sisters, Fernande Jacobson and Rosia Dupuis.
