LEWISTON – The wedding of Sherry Ann Spencer and Steven Richard Wilbur was held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 14 at the Franco-American Heritage Center at St. Mary’s in Lewiston. Virginia Dixon, notary public, performed the ceremony.

Mrs. Wilbur is the daughter of Virginia and Robert Dixon of Wales and Norman and MaryJane Spencer of Wilton. Mr. Wilbur is the son of Marylin and Jim Harris of Franklin and the late Leroy Wilbur.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length shell pink gown and carried a cascading bouquet of white and pink roses and daisies.

Rachel Duquette, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor and Hilary Spencer, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Standing up for the bridegroom was his daughter, Jalaine Wilbur.

A reception followed at Mixers in Sabattus. The couple is residing in Mechanic Falls.

The bride is a graduate of Central Maine Community College and is employed as a graphic designer at American Falcon Corp in Auburn.

The bridegroom attended Franklin School and is employed as a supervisor for Jackie’s Cleaning and Maintenance in Lewiston.
