AUBURN – Twin City Council 160, United Commercial Travelers of America, will meet at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Chandler’s Funeral Home in Mechanic Falls. After the business meeting, those present will dine at Kathy’s Diner. All members and guests are welcome.

BOWDOIN – Regent Sheila Desgrosseiliers said that the Burnt Meadow Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the home of Joanne Coombs. Coombs will give a presentation on national defense after the business meeting.
Early bird supper
LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, will host an early bird supper and meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the former Post 22 hall, 190 Bates St. All members who paid their 2005 memberships by Oct. 31 are entitled to a free buffet supper hosted by the auxiliary.
Auxiliary President Toni Blouin is in charge of the buffet, assisted by fellow members of Unit 22. Other members who have not paid their 2005 membership dues will donate $5 for the supper. Paid-up members are asked to bring their 2005 membership for presentation.
A short business meeting will follow the supper. Guest speaker will be Sandra Goss of Coastal Enterprises.
Members attending should notify Blouin at 782-2575 or Jerry DerBoghosian at 782-5700 or 353-7435 by Monday, Nov. 15.

LEWISTON – Women In Transition Together Support Group will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Lewiston-Auburn College.
