AUBURN – The parishes of St. Louis and Sacred Heart will hold a holiday fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Sacred Heart Church Hall, corner of Minot and Western avenues. Booths will include baked goods, jewelry, candy, crafts, knitting and sewing, personalized children’s books and popcorn. Luncheon will consist of fish chowder, lobster rolls, baked beans and Italian sandwiches.

Raffles will be on a storage shed, pair of oak rockers, country bookcase, cupboard, cedar porch glider and dinner with Father. Santa Claus will visit from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 2 p.m.

Harvest fair

LEWISTON – The “Great Harvest Fair” will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 150 East Ave., sponsored by the KC Council 106 Auxiliary. Tables will include raffles, baked goods, candy, crafts, knit goods, books, white elephant items, jewelry and games of chance. Anyone wishing to donate time or goods is asked to call Auxiliary President Gail Baillargeon at 784-0389 or Vice President Anita Blanchette at 784-3730.

Yule fair

LEWISTON – St. Joseph’s School and Parish will hold the annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the school.

Raffle items including a kayak, American Girl doll and Thos. Moser mirror. Other features will be a large craft table, children’s raffle table, diamond giveaway, book table, cherry tree, children’s activities, pictures with Santa, slightly used treasures and a bake sale. Lunch will be served in the school cafeteria.

Craft fair

LEWISTON – New Life Community Center, 134 College St., will have a fall craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the center. Area crafters will be on hand and the center will hold a raffle and a silent auction to benefit the scholarship fund for a graduating senior in 2005. For information, call 782-1112.

Lamplighter fair

MECHANIC FALLS – The First Congregational Church, UCC, Elm Street, will hold its annual “Lamplighter Holiday Fair” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the church. There will be crafts, homemade goods, candy, a white elephant table, towels and aprons. Lunch will include hot dogs (including red dogs), homemade baked beans and brown bread to eat in or take home, beverages and homemade pies.

PTA event

POLAND – The Poland Community School PTA will hold its annual holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the school, Route 26. There will be crafters, raffles and lunch available.

Holiday magic

POWNAL – A “Holiday Magic” Christmas fair will run from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road. It will feature crafts, knit and sewn items, baked goods, a silent auction and Christmas decorations as well as a luncheon of soups, stews, sandwiches and hot dogs.

Church fair

WALES – A church fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Wales Youth Center, Pond Road. There will be craft tables, candy, fudge, baked goods and a handmade quilt raffle. A luncheon of chowder, hot dogs, chips and beverages will be served starting at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. The fair is sponsored by the Wales Presbyterian Women. Christmas bazaar

WINTHROP – The St. Francis Women’s Club annual Christmas bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Francis Parish Hall, Lake Street. It will feature a mom and pop room, kids table, trash and treasure, crafts, silent auction, crocheted and knit goods and baked goods. A lunch and coffee will be served. Santa will visit with goodies bags for the kids.
