AUBURN – The Rev. Elijah Sohan, evangelist from New Jersey, will speak and minister at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 11 and 12, at the at the Harvest Hills Church, 89 Broadview Ave. All are welcome at the free services.

Seniors dinner

AUBURN – Auburn Seniors will gather at Martindale Country Club for a Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The doors will open at 11 a.m. and dinner will be served at noon. Thelma and Ed Manson will present a musical program after the meal.

The monthly brunch will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Hasty Community Center. Anyone interested in playing games, cards and bingo at 10 a.m. should bring snacks, casserole, salad or dessert. All members are welcome.

The club met Nov. 3 at the Community Center, Pettengill Park. Attendance winners were Jeanette Gagne and Bea Everett; pot of gold, Pat Donahue, Grace McDaniel and Annette Lee. Bingo was played after lunch.

Need volunteers

BRUNSWICK – The Bath/Brunswick Area Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers.

Habitat is building homes in Bowdoinham and Brunswick. If interested in helping, call the office at 729-0311.

Volunteer opportunities also exist for those interested in “behind-the-scenes” work such as office assistance, newsletter layout/design, committee members for family support, events, building and church relations.
