AUBURN – Celebrate Children’s Book Week, Let’s Book, Nov. 15 to 20 at the Auburn Public Library kids’ space at the Auburn Mall.

Children are invited to visit the library for storytimes and daily prize drawings, and all visitors, children and adults, may nominate their favorite children’s books for display.

Starting Monday, young patrons in preschool through grade six may enter their names for a daily drawing for a gift book.

Preschool storytime will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, when children and their grownups will enjoy stories, songs and other activities.

Babies through 24 months and their parents and caregivers are invited to Baby’s Night Out from 6 to 6:20 p.m. Thursday when Debora Cleveland will introduce stories, songs, rhymes and flannel board fun.

The week will end with a 10 a.m. Saturday storytime when Judy D’Amour shares “Friska, the Sheep Who Was Too Small” by Rob Lewis and Jan Brett’s “The Gingerbread Baby.” Children will also make a paper handprint turkey to take home.

For more information on these and other programs, visit or telephone the library at 782-2191, ext. 3, or visit www.AuburnPublicLibrary.org.
