AUBURN – Auburn AC Serve (SHARE), part of Serve New England’s food and volunteer program, will hold Distribution Day from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, Whitney entrance. Registrations for December also will be taken. Holiday packages may be ordered then. New and former participants in the Serve program are welcome. For more information, call Janet at 784-2164.

Rebekah meeting

AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94, will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St., for snacks. Beulah Allen, noble grand, will be assisted by Mercena Abrams, vice grand, and Lucille Nelson, warden.

There will be a business meeting at 7. A Thanksgiving program is under the direction of Esther Tucker, secretary. All Rebekahs are welcome.

No service

LISBON – There will be no evening LACO Thanksgiving service this year. People are asked to attend morning Thanksgiving services at their own church. Anyone having donations for the outreach may bring them to their own church on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and a representative will take them to the food pantry.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston- Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Nov. 9 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Dick Horne and Nancy Lindgren; second, Fred Letourneau and Martine Begert; third, Luke Merry and Joe Reinhardt; fourth, Les Buzzell and Rosemarie Goodwin; tied at fifth, Charles Bartlett and Allie Boyer with Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau.

Flight B winners were: first, Luke Merry and Joe Reinhardt; tied at second, Charles Bartlett and Allie Boyer with Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau. Winners in Flight C were: first, Charles Bartlett and Allie Boyer; second, Larry Fortier and Terry Gendron.

Another game will be played at the center at 9 a.m. Nov. 16. A partner is guaranteed.

The club also met on Nov. 10 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. Flight A winners were: first, David Lock and Martine Begert; second, Bruce Murray and Lucille Theriault; third, Doug and Betty Sise; fourth, Jim Flanagan and Anna Vitiello. Winners in Flight B were Doug and Betty Sise.
