AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union annual holiday fair and luncheon will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St.

New this year will be the stitch and knit table. Thinking ahead to cold winter days, hand-knitted scarves, caps and sweaters will be available. Wall hangings, wine bottle covers, aprons, Christmas stockings and Christmas novelties are a few of the stitched items that will be available.

The jewelry table will include necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins. The holiday boutique will feature Christmas and Thanksgiving items. The bake and candy table will have goodies.

Raffle tickets will be sold for a holiday basket. The drawing will be at 2 p.m. and the winner need not be present to win.

A luncheon, to be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., will consist of hamloaf, green beans, tomato aspic, a biscuit and apple crisp for $7.

Committee members are Cathy Westleigh, stitch and knit; Genice Bugel, jewelry; Tonie Ramsey, holiday boutique; Phyllis Splain, bake and candy; Marilyn Wilkinson, luncheon and kitchen; Barbara Goff, dining room; and Marciana Bottger, raffle.
