JAY – The Jay Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Jay Community Building meeting room.
The guest speaker will be Jay Hoar of Temple, author of the book “As Maine As It Gets.”
Topics from his book will be small towns in Maine, insights on Maine vernacular and Maine’s youngest, eldest and last Civil War veteran.
Refreshments will be served, and visitors are welcome.
