STRONG – Lucille Crockett, office manager for the Strong Nursing Home, has been named Department Head of the Year.
She received the honor at a North Country Associates retreat with all the department heads of all 20 NCA-owned and managed facilities present.
Her peers selected her because of her dedication to the residents and staff at Strong Nursing Home. She is the office manager, but if there is a task that needs doing she will be there to help.
She might drive the bus to take residents to work, scrub a floor, help with the gardens outside, help maintenance move equipment or help the kitchen with a special meal. Wherever there is work to be done, Crockett will be there with a helping hand.
Crockett lives in Farmington and has worked at the facility for 10 years. She enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, boating, shopping and walking. She is dedicated to the people who live at Strong Nursing Home and will do anything and everything for them.
