LEWISTON – The wedding of Debra C. Brayall and Philip R. Whittier was held at 1:30 p.m. on July 25 at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Davenport officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Whittier is the daughter of Donald and Charlene Brousseau of Manchester and the late Diane Brousseau. Mr. Whittier is the son of Philip and Lillian Arnold of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown with spaghetti straps and sequins.

Anne Boisvert, friend of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Doreen Scott, sister of the bride, Samantha Clement, friend of the couple, Pamela Whittier, sister of the bridegroom, and Lea Boisvert, friend of the bride. Nicole Brayall, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was a friend of the bridegroom, Mike Clement, and ushers were Tony Whittier, brother of the bridegroom, and Aaron Ricker, Ryan Guite and Chris Hyde, friends of the bridegroom. Joshua Brayall, son of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Old Orchard Beach. They are residing in Monmouth.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Lewiston High School and is manager of Rooper’s on Main Street in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Lewiston High School and served five years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed as sales manager at Colortyme in South Paris.
