ROCKPORT – Anastasia Chaplin and Stephen Shuman were married on Sept. 5 at the Samoset Resort.
The bride is the daughter of David and Sharon Chaplin of Winthrop. The bridegroom is the son of Charlie and Nancy Shuman of Winthrop.
Patricia Kennedy was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Nadiah Lincoln, Mandy Moody, Elissa Shuman and Andrea Maddi. Emily Tierney was flower girl.
Best man was Andy O’Hearn and groomsmen were Pete Dube, Alex Musica, John Baker, Adam Wagner and Sam Chaplin.
Mrs. Shuman is a graduate of Winthrop High School and Maine Maritime Academy. She is currently manager of Curves in Augusta.
Mr. Shuman is a graduate of Winthrop High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He is currently the general manager of Charlie’s Motor Mall.
The couple took a wedding trip to Maui and will reside in Winthrop.
