BOOTHBAY HARBOR – The wedding of Cynthia Marie Dolan and Christopher Edward Castonguay was held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. The Rev. David Doiron officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Felicia Miceli and Thomas Dolan of New York. The bridegroom is the son of Adelard and Ruth Castonguay of Livermore.

The bride wore a white sleeveless gown with a fitted beaded bodice and Chapel train. She also wore a two-tiered floor-length veil and carried a hand-tied bouquet of Ambiance roses, white lisianthus and pink freesia.

Carissa Dolan, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Celeste Sullivan, sister of the bride, Mary Castonguay, sister of the bridegroom, and Christina Banks, friend of the bride. Christina Dolan, sister of the bride, was a junior bridesmaid.

Serving the bridegroom was his brother, Peter Castonguay, as best man. Ushers were Gerald Martin and Jo Seuk, fraternity brothers of the bridegroom.

Mothers of the couple lit the unity candle at the ceremony, which culminated in a recessional accompanied by Felix Mendelssohn’s “The Wedding March.”

A wedding reception followed at the Newagen Seaside Inn in Southport Island, after which the couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii. The couple resides in Somerville, Mass.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Binghamton University and is employed as an analyst at NEPC in Cambridge, Mass.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Dartmouth College and a 1997 graduate of Thayer School of Engineering. He is employed as a senior mechanical engineer at Raytheon Corporation in Marlborough, Mass.
