FARMINGTON – The Colonial Daughters Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, met on Oct. 26, at the Granary for a luncheon meeting.
Members of Mary Dillingham Chapter, DAR, Auburn, attended as guests. Shirley Adams, Rangeley, gave a slide presentation about the Bubier family, who had ties to the Lewiston-Auburn area and Rangeley. It was followed by any exchange of stories concerning the Bubier family.
The regular meeting was followed by reports from the officers and committee chairwomen. Member Barbara Yeaton was honored for her 90th birthday.
Hostesses were Anne Kendall, Joanne Page and Jeanette Stevens. The next meeting will be the annual Christmas session on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the home of Clarice Sturtevant.
