LEWISTON – The International Students Organization of Lewiston Auburn and the Arts and Humanities Program at the University of Southern Maine at Lewiston-Auburn announce the start of conversational language workshops in French and Spanish at the campus, 51 Westminster St.

Reveil Francais will meet in the Caf L-A from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays. The informal coffee house gatherings are open to all students, faculty, staff and community members who speak French, understand French or wish to learn.

The group will also have access to all the historical videos and books in the Franco-American Collection, which is also located at USM/L-A. For more information, call 753-6574 or email ISOLA@maine.edu.

The Spanish Club will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in the upstairs lounge. Julia Trujillo Luengo, a native of the Canary Islands, will serve as the coordinator.
