LEWISTON – Emerentienne M. Callette, 93, of 82 Acadia Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 21.

She was born at St. Zacharie de Beauce, P.Q. Canada, Dec. 1, 1910, the daughter of Francis and Appoline Lebel Champion.

She was married in 1933 to Arthur Callette, who predeceased her in 1982.

She was employed as a baker at the former Marcotte Nursing Home for many years.

She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and Holy Cross Senior Citizens. She was an avid card player and for many years knitted various items for the Navahoe Indian missions in New Mexico and Arizona.

She is survived by a daughter, Pauline Perry, of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Maureen Perry, of Lewiston, and Kenneth Perry and wife, Lorilei, of Summerville, S.C.; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Craig; four sisters, Lucia Rodrigue, Albertine Valliere, Juliette Labbe, and Pauline Labbe, all of Canada.
