LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Daniel Libby, 25, Lewiston, charged with assault on July 4, dismissed.

Jeffrey S. Libby, 20, Auburn, charged with attaching false plates and transportation of liquor by a minor on Aug. 8, found guilty on first charge, fined $75; offense committed on second charge, fined $100 and license suspended for 30 days.

Eric J. Liberty, 24, Auburn, charged with operating under the influence on May 19, found guilty, fined $400 and license suspended for 90 days.

Kevin Wayne Lindemann, 23, Winthrop, charged with being a fugitive from justice on June 11, dismissed.

Jeffrey Dustin Littlefield Jr., 23, Lewiston, charged with disorderly conduct on June 9 and assault on June 17, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours on first charge; sentenced to 120 days with all suspended and one year probation on second charge.

Lawrence G. Lizotte, 38, Mechanic Falls, charged with assault on July 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Jacob M. Lovejoy, 22, Lisbon, charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on June 6, transferred to Superior Court.

Tammy Lowell, 32, Lewiston, charged with keeping a dangerous dog on June 29, offense committed, fined $150.

Richard Lyman Jr., 36, Lewiston, charged with operating under the influence on July 2 and violating condition of release on July 23, first charge sent to jury trial; found guilty on second charge, fined $200.

M and G Tank Lines, Irvington, Ala., charged with no proof of periodic inspection and an unsafe or defective vehicle rule violation on July 14, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $500 on second charge.

Rick Macie, 42, Leeds, charged with allowing a dog to be at large on July 9, fined $50 by default.

Julie A. Macomber, 33, Auburn, charged with violating condition of release, violating a protective order, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief on July 7, probation violation on all charges, sentenced to 10 days for each on first, third and fourth charges; sentenced to 10 days, probation partially revoked and continued and $94 restitution on second charge; also charged with violating a protective order on Aug. 8 and two counts of violating a protective order on Aug. 15, all charges dismissed.

William C. Maher, 50, Poland, charged with allowing a dog to be at large on July 7, waived, fined $50.

Lois H. Mailloux, 52, Lewiston, charged with driving to endanger and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on July 1, both charges sent to jury trial.

Lee R. Major, 34, Leeds, charged with unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Jan. 10, found guilty, fined $300.

Stephen Sam Manroel, 26, Lewiston, charged with assault on Aug. 4, dismissed.

Kirk L. Marquis, 31, Poland, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 6, found guilty, fined $250.

Glenn J. Mason, 34, Poland, charged with cultivating marijuana on Aug. 13, found guilty, fined $400.

John Mason, 67, Lewiston, charged with drinking in public and violating condition of release on Sept. 24, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours for each charge.

Tracy Matthews, 23, Lewiston, charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution on Aug. 25, transferred to Superior Court.

Lucas J. Mawhinney, 18, Lewiston, charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing public ways on July 10, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

Maxwell R. Mawhinney, 21, Lewiston, charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing public ways on July 10, and violating condition of release on July 25, found guilty on all charges, fined $100 for each charge.

Erwin L. May, 30, Lewiston, charged with operating while license suspended or revoked on July 24, found guilty, fined $200 with all but $100 suspended.

Lisa M. McDonald, 39, Lewiston, charged with unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Aug. 5, dismissed.

Casey McGivney, 19, Durham, charged with assault on June 13 and two counts of criminal threatening on July 2, all charges sent to jury trial.
