LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls High School Adult Learning Center’s creative photography class, taught by photographer LeeAnn LaFleur, culminated the fall semester with a slide show and photo exhibit recently before an audience of family and friends.

Each presentation was set to appropriate music, and the program was filmed for the local television channel.

Presenters and their subjects were: Thomas Randall, “The Power of Color”; Becky Pepper, “The Essence of Fall”; Stacey Damon, “Graphic Design”; Carey Kennedy, “Heavy Metal”; Linda Harrington, “After Life”; Terry Marsters, “A Child’s World”; Linda Latham, “The Best of Linda”; Nancy Smith, “The Magic of Nature.”

Also, Becky Pelletier, “Rural Relics” inspired by the art of Hubert Shruptine; Michael Partridge, “Water in Motion”; Sherri Couture, “Emotion”; Darlene Whittaker, “Photography Based on Music”; Christal Treadwell, “The Felling of Dance”; and Lori Hutchinson, “Natural Things.”

The course included assignments on assorted subjects, class critiques, field trips, working with models and animals, as well as weekly lectures and a guest speaker.

Third-semester students Sherri Couture, Stacey Damon, Linda Harrington, Lori Hutchinson and Mike Partridge currently have an exhibit on display at the Androscoggin Bank Gallery. All art is for sale, with part of the proceeds going to local charities.
