MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – The Manchester Monarchs got multiple-point efforts from five players and Adam Hauser stopped all 28 shots he saw to backstop a 6-0 win over the Portland Pirates Friday night.

The Monarchs scored three goals in the first period and added three more in the second, coasting to their ninth consecutive win.

After a three-goal first period, the Monarchs matched that with three more in the second. Mike Cammalleri connected on the power play for a 4-0 lead.

Then, Petr Kanko and Noah Clarke scored 1:52 apart to give the Monarchs a 6-0 lead after two periods.

The Monarchs got on the board first scoring goals one minute and 50 seconds apart for a 2-0 lead. Matt Ryan took a feed from Mike Weaver and one-timed it by Ouellet for a 1-0.

Dustin Brown followed with a shot through a screen that found the back of the net to push the lead to two. Then with 22 seconds left in the period Yanick Lehoux made a no-look drop pass to Tom Kostopoulos for a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes.
