BANGOR – The wedding of Kimberly Rae Lane and Andrew Nadeau was held at 2 p.m. on June 19 at the Airport Sheraton in Bangor. Julie Phair, notary public and aunt of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony.

Mrs. Nadeau is the daughter of Raymond and Janet Lane Jr. of Glenburn and the granddaughter of Bing and Nancy Crosby and Raymond and Judy Lane Sr. of North Jay.

Mr. Nadeau is the son of Norris and Carrie Nadeau of Milford and the grandson of Lawrence and Helen Nadeau of Orono.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length, white gown with square neckline, beaded bodice and beaded appliqués throughout the gown and full-length train. She carried a cascade of Stargazer lilies and red roses.

Janet Lane was matron of honor for her daughter and bridesmaids were Kristen Lane of Glenburn, sister of the bride, Jessica Anderson of Bangor, friend of the bride, and Nicole Nadeau of Bangor, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Logan Lizotte of Glenburn, friend of the bride.

Performing the duties of best man was Robert Dubois of Bradley, cousin of the bridegroom, and ushers were Brandon Wade of Portland, Doug Gross of Eddington and Tanner Hartford of Bangor, friends of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Riley Nadeau of Glenburn, son of the bridegroom.

The bride’s grandparents, Bing and Nancy Crosby, performed a special song “From This Moment,” during the ceremony.

A reception was held for the couple immediately following the ceremony at the same location.

The bride is a graduate of Orono High School and the University of Maine at Orono. She is an eighth-grade teacher at Caravel Middle School in Carmel.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Old Town High School and Northern Maine Technical School. He is employed at Bangor Roofing Sheet Metal in Bangor.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico. They are residing in Glenburn.
