LEWISTON – The wedding of Michelle Lynn Lussier and Keith Michael Lemieux was held at 5 p.m. on June 5 at the Bates College Chapel. Doreen Poliquin Keenan, notary public and friend of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lemieux is the daughter of Robert and Vicki Lussier of Auburn. Mr. Lemieux is the son of Donald and Anita Lemieux of Acworth, Ga.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with Schiffli lace, halter neckline, which was finished with a beaded band on a full princess line gown which had beads and featured a full chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with pearls and ivy, which were hand-tied with ribbon.
Readings were presented by Letitia Lussier, aunt of the bride, Dr. Michael Lemieux, uncle of the bridegroom, and Celeste Lemieux, sister of the bridegroom.
Sarah Labrie, long-time best friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Celeste Lemieux, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer Alexander and Ashley Alexander, cousins of the bride, and Wendy Milliken, friend of the bride. Danielle Laplante, long-time friend of the bride, was junior bridesmaid and Bryanna Foster, daughter of the couple’s friends, was flower girl.
John Clark, best friend of the bridegroom, attended as best man and ushers were Robert Lussier Jr., brother of the bride, Marc Gosselin, friend of the bridegroom, Chad Denis, friend of the couple, and Eric Milliken, high school friend of the bridegroom. Logan Alexander, second cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Ramada Inn, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia at the Sandal’s Resort. They are residing in Auburn.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Edward Little High School and attended the University of New England in Biddeford. She is employed as office coordinator at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Lewiston and is also scheduler and varsity cheerleading coach at Edward Little High School.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as lead merchandiser at Seltzer and Rydholm and is also a real estate investor.
