LEWISTON – Advocates for Children is sponsoring its 19th annual Holiday Festival for Children from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St.

Entertainment will include the Mad Science at 9:30 a.m., Rick Charette at 11 a.m., Pelletier’s Karate Academy at 1 p.m., Balloon Zoo and clowns. A comprehensive child recovery and identification program will be offered.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Hannaford (Lewiston and Auburn) or Advocates for Children; $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and under age 2, free (at the door, $7 and $3).

A character lunch with Santa and some of his friends will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Meal deals will be available for $3 each.

Advocates for Children has been providing support and education to families and children in Androscoggin County for 26 years, is a participating United Way agency and a recipient of a Lewiston Community Development Block Grant.
