FARMINGTON – The meaning of parents and family is captured in grand style by the photography of local residents featured in the photography exhibit at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Twenty photographs line the walls of the front lobby expressing the theme, “Parents and Family,” in the exhibit titled “A Moment in Time.”

Photo selections now on display were made based on artistic value, quality, diversity and consistency with the state theme. They include “Some Day I’ll be as Tall as Daddy” by Lori Cushing; “Fishing Fun,” Jill Gray; “Friends Forever,” Jane Naliboff; “Safe in Your Arms,” Tami Wentworth; “Forever Friends,” Jim Knox; “Cousins and Friends Forever,” Julie Sawyer.

“Part Time Coach, Full Time Dad,” Carol Martineau; “Sharing a Laugh with Dad,” Jennifer Harper; “My Sister, My Friend, My Fellow Mischief Maker,” Lori Kincaid; “Red Hat Cover Girl,” Laura Dunham; “Narrow Gauge Strollers,” Diane Wing; “Dad, I Caught a Sucker,” Gina Hobert; “Pretty in Pink,” Jan Bell.

“Orange is my Favorite Color,” Lori Cushing; “Good Morning Beautiful World,” Irene Cushing; “Happy Family,” Mim Brennan; “My Girl,” Paula Roy; “Let’s Find Some Mud, Daddy,” Mariam Whitney; “Going to the Woods with Grampa,” Carol Jackson; and “Oh Happy Day,” Irene Cushing.

The next exhibit’s theme, “Celebrating 75 years of Health Care,” has an entry deadline of Jan. 14.

Anyone living in Franklin Memorial’s service area is eligible to submit two photographs. Each should be unframed and have a completed entry form attached. The form is available by calling 779-2555 or it can be printed from the FCHN Web site at www.fchn.org.
