NEW GLOUCESTER – Androscoggin Pomona Grange 1 will meet Wednesday, Dec. 1, for a 6:30 p.m. supper at Sabbathday Lake Grange 365. The business meeting will start at 7:30. There will be a Christmas program, including an attendance drawing, which will continue until someone’s name is drawn who is in attendance. All members and guests are welcome.
Blood drive

Art club
AUBURN – The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the High Street Congregational Church with Barbara Randall serving as hostess. On her holiday committee are Maude Abbott, Dorothy Murray and Jill Jones. The entertainment will be the Edward Little High School Show Choir directed by the Beth Labrie.
Widow fellowship
LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Area Widow Fellowship will meet on Monday, Dec. 6, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering will begin at noon with a potluck lunch. All interested widows in the area are invited. Donations of food for the LACO Food Bank will be brought as Christmas gifts.
OES meeting
AUBURN – Mt. Olivet Chapter 29, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Masonic Hall, Turner Street. All Eastern Star members are welcome. Refreshments will be provided by Dianna Carr and Helen Shelton.
Golden Agers
MONMOUTH – The Golden Age Seniors will hold the annual Christmas dinner Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Central Maine Technical College. The bus will leave the United Church parking lot at 11 a.m.

Art on display
FALMOUTH – The silver jewelry of Winthrop artist Shearon Clarke Murphy will be on exhibit and for sale at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center through December.

Parents’ program
BRUNSWICK – A parenting education program, Caught in the Middle, is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Brunswick High School.
The program, for separating or divorcing parents, will be presented by an experienced educator and counselor.
The workshop will examine behavior at specific ages, the impact of divorce on behavior and management strategies to effect positive change. Participants will receive a manual, which covers workshop topics and includes a resource guide. The fee is $25 in advance, $40 day of the workshop. For more information or to register, call 837-4893.

RICHMOND – In appreciation of the support given by Richmond residents and the Isaac F. Umberhine Public Library cardholders, the library is hosting its annual holiday giveaway.
From Dec. 1 through 23, 10 free items a person will be offered to Richmond residents and Isaac F. Umberhine Public Library cardholder. Items include books, videos and CDs. Residents wanting more information can call 737-2770.
