RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Joseph “Marcel” Richard of Rumford was celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with Fr. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Organist was Mr. Mark Belanger. Readings were given by his son, Mark Richard, and daughter, Sara Richard. Eulogy was given by his son, Mark Richard. Pallbearers were Rich Kohonan, Dale Belanger, Clayton Weeks, Rick Beaudet, Matthew Beaudet, and Ed Paterson. Delegation from the Knights of Columbus were Tim Ronan, Bob Perry, Wilfred Belanger, Fern Dumoulin. Interment St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed the services at the St. Athanasius-St. John Church Hall. Arrangements were under the care of the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
