LEEDS – The wedding of Deanna Benedix and Bill Childs Jr. was held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 6 at Leeds Community Church. Pastor Stuart Cameron officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Childs is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lucas of Corydon, Ind., and David Benedix of Dixfield. Mr. Childs is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Childs Sr. of Leeds.
The bride, given in marriage by Robert Lucas and David Benedix, wore a white gown with spaghetti straps with pearls and lace on the front and side of the gown. She carried a bouquet of white roses with baby’s breath.
Jess Thompson, friend, served as honor attendant and Steve Page, friend, served as best man.
A reception was held at the New Auburn Social Club.
The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the bridegroom is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Turner.
