JAY PEAK, Vt. – The wedding of Kristy Alizabeth Jackson and Joel Edward Bilodeau was held at 2:30 p.m. on July 17 at Jay Peak, Vt. Rosemarie Hartley, justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bilodeau is the daughter of Bob and Sugar Jackson of Lanesboro, Mass. Mr. Bilodeau is the son of Michael and Barbara Bilodeau of Jay.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white, tank-style, taffeta gown with A-line skirt and train. She also wore baby’s breath in her hair and carried a bouquet of Gerber daisies.

Jessica Jackson attended as maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Jennefer Jackson, sister of the bride, Courtney Jackson, niece of the bride, and Jennifer Sauve, friend of the bride.

Performing the duties of best man was a friend of the bridegroom, Devon Reed, and ushers were Brent Bilodeau, brother of the bridegroom, and Matt Driscoll and Brian Carelli, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Jay Peak, Vt., after which the couple traveled to Maui in Hawaii. They are residing in Taunton, Mass.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Mount Greylock High School and a 1999 graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute of Boston. She also graduated in 2003 from Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., with a degree in marine biology. She is employed at Massage Works Inc. of Braintree, Mass.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Jay High School and a 2000 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute of Worcester, Mass., with a degree in computer science. He is employed as a systems verification engineer at Lucent Technologies of Marlboro, Mass.
