LEWISTON – The Toy Library will host its 10th annual Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Toy Library, 250 Main St. A pancake breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. and Santa will appear at 9:30. There will be crafts until noon. Cost will be $2 for children; free, adults and members.

Kids’ workshop

AUBURN – A Create and Take Art Workshop, “Artistic and Expressive Gift-Making,” will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, for children in grades kindergarten through six. Cost will be $20. The workshop will be held at the Artspace studio in conjunction with SHAREcenter, Great Falls Performing Arts Center. For information and registration, call 777-5320.

Christmas meal

BOWDOIN – Regent Sheila Desgrosseilliers announces that Burnt Meadow Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at noon Saturday, Dec. 11, at the home of Jayne Bickford. The annual Christmas dinner will be served followed by Christmas traditions and gift exchange.

AUBURN – Chapter Martel, Association Canado-Americaine, will meet for a Christmas banquet at noon Monday, Dec. 13, at Rolandeau’s Restaurant. Regular members and special guests are invited.

Young at Heart

AUBURN – The Young at Heart Fellowship will meet at noon Tuesday, Dec. 14,at the Court Street Baptist Church to attend the Advent service. A luncheon will follow in the vestry at a cost of $3.50.

A business meeting will be held at 1 p.m. under the direction of Mary and Winston Greaton, co-presidents . There will be a Christmas gift exchange. Members should bring a gift to exchange marked for a man or woman with a cost not over $3. Gerry Ellis, music teacher and performer from Turner, will present a program of music. Senior citizens are welcome to join.

Advent service

AUBURN – Court Street Baptist Church invites the public to the third Tuesday noon Advent service on Dec. 14. Guest pastor will be the Rev. John Hall, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Livermore Falls and Moose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Organist wil be Charles Marshall Jr. of the West Auburn Congregational Church. Special music will be a vocal duet by Ted and Alda Reynolds.

A home-style meal will be served following the service. Donations of $3.50 will be asked to cover the food cost. For more information, call 784-6661.
