LEWISTON – Andy and Monique Gagne of Lewiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 20 at an outdoor open house at the home of their youngest son, William (Bill) and his wife, Lori.

The party was hosted by their four sons and daughters-in-law, Marc and Ginny from West Palm Beach, Fla., Michael (Ernie) and Patti, and Paul and Anita, all of Lewiston, and Bill and Lori of Auburn.

The Rev. Maurice Lebel of Wells, a family friend, officiated at the renewal of their wedding vows. Andre, son of the late Louis Philippe and Ernestine Gagne and Monique Gobeil, daughter of Marie-Ange and the late Amedee Gobeil, were married at Sacred Heart Church on May 31, 1954, by the Rev. Theodore Bouthot.

The highlight of the event was the fact that it was the first time in nine years that their children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter were all together. A five-generation photo was taken with Marie-Ange Gobeil, great-grandmother.

They are the proud grandparents of eight, Roxann of Riverside, Calif., Adri of Lauderhill, Fla., Christina of San Antonio, Texas, Stephanie, Scott and Josh of Lewiston, Zachary and Nicholas of Auburn, and two stepgrandsons, Keenan and Kendrick White, all of Lewiston. They have one great-granddaughter, Rian, of Riverside, Calif.
