JAY – The wedding of Mary-Anne (Marchetti) Naples and Laurier Donald Castonguay was held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 7 at St. Rose of Lima Church. The Rev. Richard E. Senghas officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Mrs. Castonguay is the daughter of Anita Marchetti of Jay and the late John Marchetti. Mr. Castonguay is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Castonguay of Jay.

The bride, given in marriage by her son, Neil Naples, wore a cream colored gown with sequins and beads on the bodice. She carried a bouquet of cream colored roses, miniature mauve roses and baby’s breath.

Emily Naples, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor and Justin Castonguay, son of the bridegroom, served as best man. Bert Castonguay, father of the bridegroom, also stood up for his son.

Anita Marchetti, mother of the bride, Maureen Martin, sister of the bride, and Amanda Castonguay, daughter of the bridegroom, read the readings during the ceremony. Jaimie Castonguay, daughter of the bridegroom, and Tina Therrien, cousin of the bridegroom, presented the Eucharistic gifts at the altar.

A reception immediately followed at LaFleur’s Restaurant in Jay. The couple honeymooned at Prince Edward Island and are currently residing at their home in Jay.

Mrs. Castonguay is employed as a speech/language pathologist for SAD 43 at Rumford Elementary School.

Mr. Castonguay is employed as a project engineer at the Wausau-Mosinee Paper Mill in Jay.
