LEWISTON – The wedding of Desiree Marie Snow and Joseph Michael Turner was held at 5 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Calvary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russel Hartley and Eddie Hill officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Debra Snow of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Mitchell and Patsy Turner of Ash, N.C.

The bride wore a white strapless gown with fitted beaded bodice and inverted center pleat with Swarovski crystals, sequins and bugle beads spraying down the gown and trailing down the center back seam to the hem of the embroidered sweep train. She carried a cascade of Swarovski Austrian crystals that overflowed with bursts of radiating shimmers of color.

Stephanie Deschenes, best friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Darcy Mitchell and Danielle Snow, and friends of the bride, Heather-Lynn Clifford, Heather Squires and Stephanie Kizer. Sare Howes was the flower girl.

Serving the bridegroom was his father, Mitch Turner, as best man. Groomsmen were John Mitchell and Derek Ribbons, brothers-in-law of the bride, and Daniel Squires, Zach Kizer and Shawn Ripley, friends of the bridegroom. Bryson and Zane Hill were the ring bearers.

A wedding reception was held at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Fayetteville, N.C., where they will reside while the bridegroom serves in the U.S. Air Force.
