NORWAY – The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association will meet Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Red Schoolhouse at Norway Lake Beach.

Members are asked to bring an unwrapped gift or money that will be donated to Christmas for Kids. There will be no gift exchange this year as all efforts are focused on helping Christmas for Kids. The meeting will include a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7.

Seniors party

OXFORD – The Lake Thompson Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, for a meeting and annual Christmas party at the American Legion Hall, Route 121.

A dinner will be served at noon by the Rock-O-Dundee Snowmobile Club. Each member is asked to bring a place setting and a gift to exchange, man’s gift for a man and women for a women. Elton Record will present a musical program. Guests and new members are welcome.

Bridge play

NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge played Dec. 10 at the Fare Share Commons. Winners were: first, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second, Les Buzzell and Woody Mercie; third, Eleanor Griffin and Jim Dickens; fourth, Marta Clements and Nancy Farmer.

The year-end holiday game will be played at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in the Fare Share Commons Room, 445 Main St. The group will bring treats to share. All bridge players are welcome. A partner is guaranteed.

Yule services

NORWAY – Christ Church, 35 Paris St., announce Christmas services as follows: Friday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, 5 p.m., Holy Communion, children’s sermon, furnishing the crche, carols; 10 p.m., Holy Communion, choir, carols and special music.

Blood drive

BRIDGTON – An American Red Cross Community Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, in the Masonic Hall basement, Route 117. The drive is sponsored by the Bridgton Lions. Most healthy adults can give blood through the American Red Cross if they meet the basic eligibility requirements. A donor must be 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in good health. Good year

NORWAY – The Norway Historical Society and Museum has had a productive year, with interesting speakers at monthly meetings. The antique Cape Cod-style house is full of donated treasures, and records are kept of it all. All donations are accepted. The society will continue to open on Saturday mornings through the cold season. Willing helpers are needed in order to fill the upcoming nomination of officers and trustees in the spring. It is an all-volunteer organization.

Skating hours

BRIDGTON – Public skating times at the Bridgton Ice Arena will include Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. Public Skating on Sunday is an open skate for the town as is Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
