LEWISTON – Dr. Gilbert and Norma (Marlene) Grimes of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Lewiston, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently at a party at the Captain Daniel Stone Inn in Brunswick.
Dr. Grimes and the former Norma (Marlene) Raugh were married on Nov. 11, 1954. Their children are Kathi Grimes Liscomb, Gilbert R. Grimes Jr. and James Darl Grimes. Their grandchildren are Alek James Baker-Grimes, age 5, Brian Gilbert Liscomb, age 14, and Jenna Ashley Liscomb, age 11.
