LITCHFIELD – The wedding of Ann Marie Roy and Raymond Andre Mercier was held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 28 at St. Leo’s Chapel. The Rev. Brian Blanchette officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Mercier is the daughter of Edward and Constance Roy of Lewiston. Mr. Mercier is the son of the late Rose de Lima and Alphonse Mercier.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a champagne colored two-piece gown in bias cut with V neckline, short sleeves and long skirt. The top had a pearls with silk underlayment and she wore dried flowers in her hair. She carried a bouquet of coral roses with baby’s breath.

Jennifer Hartford was matron of honor for her mother. Church ushers were Casie Gutshall and Sonya Ramirez, nieces. Sarah Mercier, daughter of the bridegroom, had charge of the guest book.

Marcel Poulin, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and music coordinator was Matthew Gutshall, nephew of the bride.

A reception followed at C&J Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee with their horses. They are residing in Litchfield.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Maine and Northeast Technical Institute. She is employed at L.L. Bean.

The bridegroom attended Lewiston schools and is employed at Pepsi Bottling Group of Auburn.
