STRONG – Dena Darnell was named Employee of the Month at Strong Nursing Home recently.
Darnell is a certified nursing assistant and has worked at Strong Nursing Home for eight years. She works on the evening and the day shifts. She also frequently fills in extra shifts to ensure residents receive the care they need.
Darnell is described as working with assuredness and enthusiasm. She knows the residents and is able to provide those special little extras to enhance their lives.
She also recently completed a medication technician class and is qualified to pass oral medications to residents.
Darnell and her husband call Strong home. Their four children are grown and some live out of state. Her daughter, Cathy, just had her first child and Darnell has been readily available to support the new mother and grandson.
