AUBURN – The wedding of Rebecca Lynn Bernier and Christopher Charles Branagan took place at 11 a.m. on June 19 at the East Auburn Baptist Church. Keith Wentzel, assistant pastor, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Branagan is the daughter of David and Karen Bernier of Lewiston. Mr. Branagan is the son of Paul Branagan of Lewiston and Marilyn Branagan of New Ipswich, N.H.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-the-shoulder white embroidered organza gown with A-line skirt, hand-beaded bodice and satin ribbon hem. She carried a large cascade of white and yellow daisies.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Julie Bernier, and flower girl was Amelia Rowe.

Sean Branagan, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and the ring bearer was Damien Poulin. Jay Champagne, future brother-in-law, ushered, as did the bridegroom’s father.

Laurie Davis, close friend of the bride, did the reading.

A reception followed at Bachelders’ Inn in Litchfield, after which the newlyweds traveled to Foxwood’s Resort for their honeymoon.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and attended St. Joseph’s College in Standish. She is currently employed at Community Credit Union.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently employed as store manager at the Electronics Boutique in Auburn.

They are residing in Auburn.
