JAY – Raymond and Alberta Carter of Jay celebrated their golden anniversary on Oct. 23 at the Jay AMVETS Hall, with approximately 100 friends and family present.
The couple was married on Oct. 22, 1954, in Jay. Their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all present for the special occasion. Family and friends gathered from all directions, including Maine, Colorado Springs, Colo., Phoenix, Ariz., and Washington, D.C.
The party was hosted by their three children, Kathy, Kenny and Kristeen, and their spouses and all the grandchildren. Special music was provided by Barry Wood.
The hall was decorated with mums, cornstalks and pumpkins. Pictures were done by their son and daughter-in-law from Colorado.
