LITCHFIELD – The Senior Center is growing and has welcomed a number of people to the weekly activities – walking, cribbage and the potluck lunches. About 20 people enjoyed the holiday party on Dec. 20.
Activities in January will include: Monday, Jan. 10, information on income tax and the elderly; Monday, Jan. 24, information about living wills; Friday, Jan. 14, movie, “Grumpy Old Men”; Monday, Jan. 17, January birthday celebration and potluck lunch after a business meeting.
The center will be open for a variety of activities every Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. and every Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closing will occur only when school is closed for bad weather. The center is also considering new activities.
