AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a preview its supervisor success training program from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11.

The preview is free and human resource professionals, business owners, managers and training coordinators are encouraged to attend; a light continental breakfast will be provided.

The program focuses on how to manage ever-changing challenges and develop the skills to be a successful leader and supervisor. The preview will provide highlights of the topics covered in the program, including coaching, communication, improving employee work habits, change management, dealing with conflicts and teambuilding.

Susan Lavers, corporate training coordinator with the college, and Ken O’Brien, Supervisor Success program trainer, will present the preview.

Lavers works with businesses to provide customized, high quality training programs for their employers. O’Brien is business consultant and trainer with more than 15 years of experience in supervision, sales, customer service and computer training.
