POLAND – The wedding of Sara Marie Brown and James David Ferrari Jr. was held at 11 a.m. on June 20 at the Poland Spring Inn in Poland. Judy Akers officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ferrari is the daughter of Billy and Suzanne Brown of Auburn. Mr. Ferrari is the son of James Ferrari Sr. of Livermore Falls and Lorrie Ferrari of Farmington.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length white gown with sheer sleeves and beaded flowers on the sleeves and front of the gown. She carried a bouquet of white roses and ivy accented with an array of colorful flowers.

Suzanne Brown was matron of honor for her daughter and bridesmaids were Jennifer Griffin and Elizabeth Goodale, friends of the couple, and Dawn Ferrari, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Brianna Robbins, friend of the couple.

Serving as best man was Joshua Karkos, friend of the couple, and ushers were Joseph Moceus, friend of the couple, and Jonathan Brown and Billy Harper, brothers of the bride. Junior groomsman was Joshua Ross, friend of the couple.

A reception followed at the Poland Spring Inn, after which the couple celebrated in Maine with family and friends. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and is employed at Sears in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington and is employed at Sears Home Central.
