BETHEL – A special Western Mountains Senior College “Winter-Get-Together” will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Congregational Church, Garland Chapel, Church Street.

New monthly programs and events, some without charge, are under way, and ideas for programs will be discussed. Board members planned the gathering to discuss future plans and new ideas in an informal and friendly setting. Refreshments will be available.

College membership is open to anyone 50 or older and spouses. The college is a member of the Maine Senior College Network, which offers more opportunities. A college degree is not required, just a willingness learn and share. Attendance at the Jan. 25 event does not obligate anyone to join.
