RUMFORD – A special “January Thaw” meal will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at SeniorsPlus Cafe, Rumford Community Center, 50 Congress St.

The menu will include salmon pie with egg sauce, peas and carrots, cranapple sauce, biscuit, hot fudge sundae and choice of coffee, tea or milk. A donation of $3.50 is requested of those over 60, as well as their spouses, disabled and volunteers. A $5 donation is asked of those under 60.

Bingo set

GREENWOOD – Longerberger basket bingo will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at the Locke Mills Legion Hall, Gore Road. Doors will open at 11 a.m. There will be lunch items available as well as a bake sale, quilt raffle and door prizes.

Discussing church
