AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Division at Central Maine Community College will offer a one-day workshop, “Effective Meeting Management” (CCS 025-01), from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at the college.

Based on the belief that meetings are a vital factor for management communication and should be equally valuable for participants to help create team synergy, participants in the workshop will learn guidelines and practices to ensure that meetings are fun, productive and worth the time. They will also examine the range of meeting elements, from preparation through planning, implementation and follow-up. The cost is $125 and includes materials and lunch.

The workshop will be facilitated by Jim Milliken. Milliken holds a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute and has more than 15 years of training experience in the areas of project management, supervision, teambuilding and communication.
