GRAY – The wedding of Melanie Leigh Gould and Norman J. Parker III was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 8 at Spring Meadows Golf and Country Club. Wanda Gardner officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Parker is the daughter of Debora and Norman Gellatly of Auburn and Richard and Lorri Gould of Waterboro. Mr. Parker is the son of Norman and Cheryl Parker II of Hollis.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Alyssa R. (Gould) Dumond, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Bridget S. Batting, cousin of the bride, Charlotte M. Howard, aunt of the bride, and Alison M. (Cary) Nedzbala, friend of the bride.

A brother of the bridegroom, Jamie J. Parker, served as best man and ushers were Justin S. Gould, brother of the bride, Cpl. Matthew C. Taschereau, USMC, brother of the bride, Dana G. Robicheaw and Matthew J. Levesque, friends of the bridegroom, and Silas F. Peaslee III, cousin of the bride.

A reception followed at Spring Meadows Golf and Country Club in Gray, after which the couple took a short vacation in Maine.

The bride is a graduate of Greely High School and received an associate degree in business and technology management from Southern Maine Technical College.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School and received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine at Orono.
