LEWISTON – The wedding of Jennifer Bridget LaChapelle and Kevin Leonard Renna was held at 5 p.m. on July 24 at the Bates College Chapel. Deacon Denis Mailhot officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Renna is the daughter of Roger and Maureen LaChapelle of Lewiston. Mr. Renna is the son of Leonard and Susan Renna of Newburgh, N.Y.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless gown with light ivory beading on the bodice and chapel length train. A beaded headpiece supported her Cathedral veil and she carried a bouquet of roses, sweet pea and virbidium in light and dark pinks.
Attending as maid of honor for her sister was Katie LaChapelle and bridesmaids were Angela Watson, Sare Largay, Yvette Moretti, Kristy Beauchesne, Dorian Thompson and Jennifer Laroche-Albert, friends. Krista, Caroline and Elizabeth Stankus, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
Adam Renna and Stephen Renna, brothers of the bridegroom, attended as best men and ushers were Michael Taylor, Zachary Cardoza, Joseph DeVincenzo and Brendon Kirkpatrick, friends.
A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to the Biras Creek Resort in the Virgin Islands. They are residing in Beverly, Mass.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 1997 graduate of Smith College. She is owner and president of Little Paper Company, a high end stationery company in Manchester, Mass.
The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and a 1999 graduate of Westchester Business Institute. He is a graphic designer at White Eight Digital in Beverly, Mass.
