AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Introduction to QuickBooks 2004 (CPT 059-21) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 2 through March 14. The cost of $195 includes materials. Classes will be held in Kirk Hall.
QuickBooks is a small-business computer accounting package. Participants will learn how to set up an accounting system for a company, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, create invoices, bill customers, print checks and create financial statements. A basic understanding of Windows is recommended. The class will be taught by Ken O’Brien. O’Brien owns a computer consulting company in Woolwich and specializes in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Web Design.
