POLAND SPRING – The wedding of Dawn Angela Saunders and Eric Arnold Blackstone was held on Aug. 7 at the Poland Spring Inn. Pastor Howard Richardson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Blackstone is the daughter of Arlan and Debra Saunders of Hebron. Mr. Blackstone is the son of Arnold and Doris Blackstone of Pownal.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown of organza with Victorian bodice and pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white and lavender roses.

Vickie Gammon, aunt of the bride, served as honor attendant and bridesmaids were JoAnn Vaillancourt and Dianne Lounsbury, friends of the bride. Abigail Blackstone, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Scott Blackstone performed the duties of best man for his brother and ushers were Bradford Blackstone, another brother, and Dean Frost, friend of the bridegroom. Reid Blackstone, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Poland Spring Inn in Poland Spring, after which the couple traveled to Bermuda. They are residing in Somersworth, N.H.

The bride is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School and Mid-State College. She is currently attending nursing school at New Hampshire Community Technical College. She is employed at Portsmouth Family Practice in Portsmouth, N.H.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Greely High School and the University of Southern Maine. He is employed at Navisite at Andover, Mass.
